William Henry Studios & Fahrney’s Pens Exclusive
Historical Woods of America is pleased to announce that we have recently team up with William Henry Studios and Fahrney's Pens for a special project. We have been asked to provide wood for knife handles from "America's Historic Horse-Chestnut Tree" that was planted by George Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
William Henry is devoted to the vision of designing and building the finest tools possible. Founded in 1997 by partners Matthew William Conable and Michael Henry Honack, William Henry has grown from a one-man shop to a 20 person company that has established a new benchmark of excellence.
The wood has been used to create the handles on a limited edition (50 pieces only) series of special knives that are being sold exclusively through Fahrney's Pens, the premier pen retailer in the country.
Please Note: You may order these knives from Historical Woods of America as well, however, if you decide to purchase directly from Fahrney's, please be sure to tell them that you saw it here first.

We are part of a collaboration between several master craftsmen in the creation of a one of a kind custom presentation knife named "Freedom's Steel" that was created for the grassroots organization Knife Rights.
We have supplied the George Washington Horse-Chestnut wood for the handle on this special knife that has been donated to the NRA-ILA and will be auctioned off at their annual meeting in St Louis, MO on the weekend of April 13.
